Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding
Full-time - home based after initial one month’s training in the designated office.
Salary - $45k to $65k base
Car allowance

Must have 2 years recent/current experience working for a Freight Forwarding organization.

This client is looking to hire 2 Sales Executive to join our diverse team of sales professionals in the LA.

Client information
This client is an International Freight Forwarding shipping organization with a well-established reputation in the industry with nearly 50 years of experience. This client specializes in Seafreight, Airfreight, Multimodal and focused on the Asia-Pacific Market.

Ideal Candidate
This is an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Rep or an Operations Coordinator looking to make the transition into Sales. This client will provide ongoing training over 6 months where you will be working in a Fast-paced work environment with excellent benefits including health, life, dental insurance; flexible spending plan; paid vacation, holiday, sick time; and 401K.

Responsibilities
Generate business leads internally and externally, secure new business and grow customer base, develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
Prepare & execute the Annual Business Plan, Business Strategy & Sales Budget
Achievement all sales activities, KPI, and performance requirements.
Prepare & promote effective market promotions for the Station.
Responsible for developing mutual accounts with overseas team, setup target goals and pursuit for achievement.
Create proposals & presentations for potential clients in line with our current guidelines.
Responsible and manage customer risk management, credit application as well as Accounts.
Receivable collection if accounting cannot collect customers payments.
Execute on any job & assignments deemed necessary by Management.

Commute Commitment
Must be willing to meet with Sales Team for scheduled sales meeting once every week at the designated office.

Skills
Key candidates will be performance driven, self-starters, with a high interest in freight. forwarding and international logistics.
Experience in B-to-B Service Sales, or Customer Service in the International Logistics field is preferred.
College degree is a plus, but not required.
Local and familiar with the Territory
Team player / problem solver, resourceful in creating solutions for customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
'Compensation plans will be commensurate with experience.'
